Low-temperature water
Warmboard’s aluminium face spreads heat from the pipe across the whole floor, so the system runs on lower water temperatures than many other floor heating systems.
That suits an air-to-water heat pump, which works best at low water temperatures.
How the system fits together
2. Manifold
The manifold sends water to each pipe loop and back. Each room or zone has its own loops, so it can be heated on its own.
3. Controls
A thermostat in each zone switches its loops on and off. Controls are sourced in Australia and chosen with your plumber.
What we supply and what your plumber does
We supply the Warmboard panels and the panel layout, pipe loop plan and materials list, drawn by Warmboard’s design team.
The heat source, manifold, pipe and controls are sourced in Australia. A licensed plumber installs the pipe, connects the manifold and heat source, and commissions the system.
